CODING FOR A CAUSE

We are an organization dedicated to using our technical skills and knowledge to make the world a better place. Right now, our work consists of doing community outreach events to close the digital divide and developing websites for altruistic non-profit organizations.

Who We Are

What We Are Doing

Coding for a Cause is currently developing websites for three Columbia-based nonprofit organizations: D&D Animal Sanctuary, Circles Initiative, and Literacy Action Corps.

We are planning on at least one more outreach event with Kids on Campus this year. Pictures from last semester’s Kids on Campus event (disassembling computers) can be viewed here.

As this is our first year of existence, we have also been doing a lot of organizing and setting up frameworks and protocols to make CFAC the most effective organization it can be and to ensure it will endure to serve Columbia for years to come.

The full Coding for a Cause website will be completed and launched after the completion of our first nonprofit projects.
